Born in Granby, Québec, and of Indigenous descent on his father’s side, Eric Trahan began modeling later in life, driven by curiosity and a deep desire to represent difference with pride. Deaf since birth, Eric sees his condition not as a limitation, but as a unique strength that shapes his perspective and quiet confidence in front of the camera.

Renowned for his distinctive silver hair and beard, Eric has modeled for brands and publications such as Pajar, Fugues Magazine, Educalcool, Ernest, and Boutique Option. His journey embodies authenticity and resilience — qualities that have allowed him to carve a meaningful place in the fashion industry.

Eric also made his runway debut at Aspen Fashion Week, walking for designer Max Alexander in his first menswear collection, an experience that further amplified representation and inclusion for the deaf community.
