ABOUT
Augusta Southwell is a Guadeloupe-born model formed by movement, culture, and curiosity. Raised between French and Franco-Chadian roots, she grew up surrounded by travel, landscapes, and stories that quietly nurtured her eye for beauty and detail. What began as playful photo sessions with friends by the sea slowly evolved into a deeper connection with image-making, where being both in front of and behind the lens became a form of expression.
Her passion for photography, passed down by her grandfather, feeds her natural understanding of light, emotion, and presence. A first professional shoot in Paris marked a turning point, revealing the craft behind modeling and strengthening her desire to pursue it with intention. Now based in Montreal, Augusta approaches modeling as a space for pure creation.
Deeply aware of the world she moves through, she is touched by causes close to her heart, particularly women’s rights and environmental preservation, carrying these values into her work with strength and conviction.
